The Wealthy Writer: Show Up, Phone Down

This is the third episode in the series, in two short parts because it was too freaking windy outside for part1!  How do you get that novel you’ve always talked about finally DONE? You have to set yourself a schedule, stick to it, and turn that phone off to keep away unwanted distractions. See the videos for more tips and feel free to ask me questions about this episode here.

The Wealthy Writer: Fork Your Monsters!

“Wealthy Writer” –isn’t that an oxymoron? Bestselling Amazon author and working writer of 22 years Heather Grace Stewart doesn’t think so!

Hey guys. I’m here to teach you how to use discipline and creativity to become a paid writer, and hopefully with some hard work and training, a wealthy one. Subscribe to this site, and/or to my  YouTube channel so you don’t miss my weekly tips.

This week’s lesson is how you can get more writing done by telling your inner and outer critics, your past and present monsters, to Fork Off!

I Carry Your Heart (ee cummings)

I want to pay tribute to some of my favourite poets in the next few months. The poems I want share with you have lifted me during some of my darkest days, or simply given me a sense of hope, and the feeling that I am not alone. I hope they will do the same for you.

I’m busy writing my fourth novel and working on some new poems for you, so I can’t always post my own work. So, until I can, I will turn to the ones I love the most! I hope you enjoy. All of the poets I share will be ones whose work is now in the public domain, so you are free to share them wherever you want – just be sure to let people know who wrote the poem!

Enjoy!
